Stone-like transformations!
INDOOR CONCRETE FLOORS: Homes, offices, warehouses, retail spaces, salons, restaurants, bars, etc. Concrete polishing, concrete staining, gorgeous concrete floors.
OUTDOOR CONCRETE SLABS: Transform patios, lanais, walkways, entries, concrete pool decks, etc. Various resurfacing techniques.
COMMERCIAL CONCRETE POLISHED FLOORS: New! In these hard times we are seeing small and medium businesses requesting better pricing options. We now offer consulting & project management services as an option. If you want to DIY it (and save ~50%) and you have 3-4 competent workers in-house, we can provide consulting services whereby we instruct you carefully on how to do it, where to rent the equipment, what equipment and chemicals to use, etc.---this will save you a ton of money and tons of headaches in this complex business. Here is an example of a commercial project (a non-profit organization) that hired us to coordinate, train, and see a complex project from start to finish. Diligence, hard work, long hours, and your smart on-site team leader that we can work with will save you big bucks! Three reasons for concrete floors:
Transform your new or old concrete and cementitious surfaces. All slabs are unique. We don't coat them, we work with them. Semi-transparent stains and transparent stains ("reactive acid stains") create unique finished slabs. Colors are in ranges, not specific colors (like you'd see in paint coatings). We call this stone-toning.
SERVICES:
Consulting on-site services for:
Working nights. weekends, or other shifts to mitigate down time in your business.
Most slab projects (1000-5000 square feet) can be completed in 3-6 consecutive days.
HEPA vacuums attached to our diamond grinders to mitigate dust.
We have tons of references.
Every slab requires specialized concrete polishing equipment depending on the slab condition.
Entertainment center. Surface-prepped and then stained with Kemiko acid stains.
Elite-looking houses with curb appeal sell faster, and for more. Period!
Dramatically increase esthetics of concrete pool decks. And save significant amounts of money over expensive pool deck coatings, that will, over time, flake, peel, de-laminate. We use semi-transparent and transparent reactive stains, not coatings. And every slab has its own unique character.
Mold and mildew occur under nearly every floor covering that we have encountered in moist areas, in areas where there is outdoor irrigation, or where there is frequent carpet cleaning (where the moisture goes right down to the carpet pad and the slab and never dries completely).
If you've had a leak and you have flooring over a slab (or over wood, etc.) you probably have mildew or mold.
If you have irrigation around your house, have had leaks, or live in a moist area you probably have mold under your flooring. Go to the FAQ section in this website

-If there is a leak in your house or business your flooring is a probably gone. Expensive replacement and inconvenience! Why risk that again?
-Tile grout lines are pain to clean.
-Carpet cleaning creates more moisture under the carpet padding. It smells nice for awhile. But wet padding and concrete underneath grow mold, mildew, germs, bacteria, bugs.
-Laminate and wood are gorgeous, but future maintenance from warping or wearing is expensive. Few contractors and handymen want to deal with a small, difficult forensic project.
-Artistic concrete floor annual maintenance is a DIY hard wax that we recommend that protects the sealer and maintains luster (flat or gloss). You can hard wax a 1000 square foot floor in about 15 minutes and it is dry in about 30 minutes. All with simple tools from Home Depot.
Waxing over sealed concrete floors. It's so simple a 12-year old can do it! By the way, some companies might call a hard wax by another name: "floor finish". Few companies offer this. Our opinion is that it is mandatory! It protects the sealer so you don't have to re-seal.
We fill cracks with cementitious material. Sometimes we integrate the grind material into the patching material so that it is less visible. In an case, cracks create a stone-like, natural elegance.
We don't use epoxies. They don't stain and they tend to shrink. In case you haven't notice we think beyond epoxy, epoxy.
We use various machines for various projects. Surface prep is everything! The better the prep, the better the results. In this case we used a Hum-B Edge Grinder to diamond-grind the edges and to hone down high spots. We then follow up with a Terco, Skanmaskin, HTC, Onfloor, Lavina, or other diamond grinder that will operate in three iterations to 400 grit. We don't like concrete dust so we use powerful HEPA vacuums to eliminate dust from the main grinders. It IS a noisy process, but it is "white noise" unlike the banging from hammering.
